“I’m a 63 year old piano student. I’ve taken lessons three separate times in my life, this being the third. I’m considered, according to my last teacher anyhow, advanced intermediate. While I don’t consider myself to actually be at that level, I am sort of picky about teachers. For me there has to be some sort of connection on a non-verbal level with my teacher. And fortunately I happened to stumble across Emerson while searching for teachers. Em is an amazing, intuitive teacher who senses things about my playing that could lead to problems later and proactively corrects them. He is encouraging and inspiring and quite frankly everything I had hoped for in a piano teacher. At my last lesson, I had been frustrated with how my practicing had been going and he immediately related and gave me some tips and insights on how to relate to my practice time in a non- frustrating way. I would recommend Emerson for any adult piano student of any level. And of course they teach all ages. I’m lucky to have found Elbrook Music Studio!”

“From the first time I reached out to Emerson and then through the last 5 months, Em has been the most professional and yet kid friendly piano teacher I have met. I have an 8 year old who never complains about lessons with him. He is always on time, patient, and creating thoughtful lessons. I also love how easy he makes payments. I have paid many private teachers in the past, and they by far have their business together. Elbrook send email reminders when a monthly payment is about to occur and then charges my card without me needing to do anything. My son had a lemonade sale and he came to support him. I only say this to show how much they truly invest in each of their students lives.”
